February 26, 1952 - July 27, 2017
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care at the age of 65. Beloved husband to Brenda Schwartz (nee Manser-Snyder). Loving Father to Shawn (Melissa), Tina, Crystal, Rick, Rob, Mel (Neil) and James (Stacey). Cherished Papa to 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is survived by brothers, Don (Cathy), Dave (Wendy) and sister Denise Kropf (Harold). Lovingly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Layton and Constance, and also by his brother, John.
Ronald's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2017 and from 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
