Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Thomas Busby for 56 years. Loving mother of David. Dear sister of Sandra Howell (Edward), Patricia Haggerty. Betty is also survived by her nephew Michael and niece Christine.
Predeceased by her parents William and Jean Haggerty and brother Hugh Haggerty.

Betty was an Ordained Minister with the Global Christian Ministry Forum, and previously a Radiological Technician with the Montreal General cancer treatment centre.

Betty's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 12:30 - 1:15 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 pm on Sunday followed by a reception. Private cremation has taken place.
