Condolence: We're very sorry to hear of Francis sudden passing. We were happy to have spend Sunday mornings with him praying together and celebrating the love of Jesus through the Eucharist.. He was always gentle and kind and soft spoken and bore his suffering quietly. He enjoyed spending time with us and hearing about our family as well. We will miss him We are praying for his soul and for the family at this time.

Condolence: Dear Sharon, Rob, Richard, Maureen and Brian,

You have my most heartfelt condolences on the sudden death of our dear Francis, who was a partner, father and friend to all of us.

At times like this, it's difficult to express one's feelings. However, my being here, in Ireland, at present, where there is a proverb or a toast for everything, gave me the idea of sharing a couple of these with you.

To begin with, here is a little poem that I hope will comfort you:

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day,
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

And a toast that I think would have made Francis chuckle:

May you be in Heaven a full half hour before the Devil knows you’re dead.

Much love,

Jim
