Wappler, Berta (nee Gaca):
Berta Wappler passed away peacefully in her 89th year at Trinity Village in Kitchener. She was the beloved wife of the late Karl Wappler of Kitchener. Loving step-mother of Elizabeth and her husband Bill Thompson, Arthur and his wife Peggy Wappler of Waterloo, Ken and his wife Patrice Wappler of Cambridge. Grandmother to Valerie Wappler, Jim and Barb Wappler, Korrina and Chris Lindgren and Kirsten and Adam Smellie. Great-grandmother to Michael and Kara Price, Kyle and Brittany Wappler, Cara Wappler, Joshua, Abigail, and Jadon Lindgren, Eden, Ava, and Asher Smellie and great-great-grandmother to Axel Wappler. Predeceased by her parents, her brother Alfred and his wife Bozena. Berta will be deeply missed by all. Cremation taken place.
A private family service will be held.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Trinity Village Chapel Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener 519-749-8467.
