Camping with Nana Do

Some of our greatest memories of Nana Do include camping. Yes, camping. Hard to believe but Nana Do was a hardcore camper in her 80s! Always game for a hike in the woods, hoping to see what wildflowers were in bloom. She knew every possible wildflower it seemed, we were always amazed on how much she knew about plants and nature. She clearly passed on her love for all things growing to her children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren. One year we camped at Cypress Lake and went to Singing Sands for the day to see what was in bloom. We sat in the tree line and had a pic nic lunch. What a wonderful time we had. She was such a good sport and never shied away from a good adventure. We will miss you and we send you off with love on your next big adventure.
