Obituary for Wanda Scharf (Luck)
Scharf, Wanda (nee Luck)
Passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Gerhard (2005). Loving mother of Heidi Pappert (the late John) and Marlies Ehret (Ed). Dearest Oma of Chris and Jon. Wanda will always be lovingly remembered by sisters Cathy Geimer of Kitchener, Della Kunkel, Waltraut Schoon, and sister-in-law Hanilore Luck and brother-in-law Walter Schoon all of Germany as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Leo Luck, Edward Luck and Victor Luck; brothers-in-law Robert Geimer and Manfred Kunkel and sister-in-law Adele Luck.
At Wanda's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
The family thanks all the staff at Freeport Palliative Care for all their wonderful care and thoughtfulness.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation- Freeport Health Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
