Condolences

Condolence From: Deana Pfanner Groves
Condolence: I would like to send my condolences to the family and friends of both Marlene and Erwin. I was very saddened to hear of Erwin's sudden passing recently and equally disheartened by the news of ALS' victory over Marlene. I met both of them one year ago when I began attending the local ALS support group (I lost my father to ALS 2 yrs ago and other family members over the years). Even though I only had the opportunity to meet with them a handful of times I was in awe of Marlene's determination to make the most of her life despite her disease and inspired by Erwin's desire to do whatever it took to make that possible for her. They will be missed at our monthly support group but I am comforted knowing that they are together in the next life free from this horrible disease.

Condolence: Deepest condolences to Marlene's family. I met Marlene and Erwin at the ALS support group (my sister has ALS). What a lovely couple. I visited Marlene twice at St. Joseph's. Know that Marlene and Erwin made a positive impact on the whole group.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Joe and Sarah Preiditsch and the entire family of Marlene Putre Preiditsch upon her death. Marlene has now joined the love of her life in heaven; Marlene was a true fighter due to her faith.
