It is with great sadness, Peter's family announces his peaceful passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Hajnal (Anna) for 48 years. Dear father of Robert (Minako) and Ingrid (James). Much loved grandpa to Avery, Kenta, and Shota. He will be fondly remembered by his best friend George. The family is ever grateful for the care he received at St. Mary's Hospital especially to the doctors and nurses in ICU.
Peter's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 where a celebration of Peter's life will take place in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
