Passed away with family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Fred Chowan. Loving mother of Wendy Gormican, Laurie Deveau (late Ken Mielke), Denise Braun (Paul Schultz), Darlene Kleinsteuber (Rob Dekker) and Wendy Cunning (Warren). Proud grandma of Amanda, Kevin, Michelle, Alex, Laura, Maddie, Tinisha, Erin, Dean and great grandmother of Evan. Survived by her sister Ruth Graham. Dear aunt of Carolyn and David.
Joyce's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
