A Walk Around the Block

Stephen and I grew up together, meeting in grade school and growing separately through life, but keeping in touch. Our coming of age story would rival a Hollywood film on occasion, but might be centred around our daily walk with Stephen's dog Mopsy. Together we discussed all the things young boys talk about while rounding the corners of George, Willow, Allen and Herbert streets, managing to stay out of harms way despite the antics. Stephen was a loyal friend who enriched my life and offered support and laughter many times over. To Joyce and family, I send my love and wish you strength. For now, I'll walk my Bichon, Tio...Stephen, you're welcome to join us.
