Passed away peacefully at St.Mary's Hospital on Friday, November 10th, 2017 in his 86th year. Loving father of Michael (Jackie), Keith, Colleen Hergott (Keith). Special grandpa to Jonathan. Predeceased by his wife Reta in 2009. James before retirement was a licensed plumber and belonged to Local 527 Plumbers and Steamfitters. In his spare time he loved to tinker with his antique cars. He also enjoyed in his younger years coaching many minor league baseball teams in Kitchener.

James's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Liturgy Service for James will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 16th at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.

A special thank you to Dr. K. Rinne and nurses Tamara and Anne on the ICU floor and nursing staff on 3 west cardiac floor for their support and exceptional care during James stay.
