The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Hood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Gerry and Pat (Kroetsch) Grundy

Dear Michael, Keith, Colleen and Families, We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your father, Uncle Jim. I(Pat) have many good memories over the years as a child and adult of visiting with your Dad at 106 Wellington St., at 169 Becker St., at Family weddings and funerals, at shopping centres and annually at the Kitchener Cenotaph on Nov. 11th. Last Saturday I was there and looked for him, then prayed for him when I didn't see him. On Monday I learned that he had passed on Friday, Nov. 10.So he probably was there in spirit. Softly and quietly may God's Love and Peace touch your hearts and whisper messages of Joy and Hope for each of you during these coming days, weeks and months. With our love and prayer support, Gerry and Pat
