The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Stephenson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: MARY SNYDER
Condolence: Dear Mary Ann & family,
Our heartfelt sympathies! We were so saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Though not a complete surprise, we did not expect it nearly this soon. Robert is so glad he had a little visit with Dave recently & I had 2 nice phone conversations with him in which he was optimistic about being able to drive the car. I was happy to learn that he did achieve that a little bit. In spite of all he endured over these many years, he was always interesting, pleasant & positive, rarely complaining about his many health challenges. We will surely miss him greatly. We wish you continued strength & peace as you adjust to this new normal.
Love & blessings,
Bob & Mary

Condolence From: Katherine Collins
Condolence: So sorry to hear of your loss. Cousin David was always the mysterious cousin who had moved away when I was young. But I always remember how happy Aunt Beat and Nana were when he came home. Wishing you a time of good memories to carry you through this difficult time.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. I first met Mr. Stephenson as my librarian, who patiently read to me as a kindergarden student. We later crossed paths again working together at OTIP. I will always remember his kind smile and very patient personality. My thoughts are with the Stephenson family at this difficult time.

Condolence From: David Foster
Condolence: I was sorry to hear about David's passing. I first met David when he had come to OTIP, but I had known him previously as a client when he worked at the school board. I was working at MetLife at the time.
Such an upbeat and positive person who I always enjoyed chatting with whenever I was in the Waterloo OTIP Office.
My sympathies to his family and everyone who loved this absolutely wonderful individual.

Condolence From: Wayne and Jean Farhood
Condolence: Wayne and I are very sorry for your loss Mary Ann, Warren and Patrick. We enjoyed our friendship with Dave over the past 36 years as our neighbour. Wayne will certainly miss his movie buddy!! How will we ever get the best deal on our next TV or tech gadget without Dave to guide us? He was always there to give a helping hand or advice when asked. His yard will be a lasting memorial and tribute to his love of gardening. We know how proud he was of his sons and his great partnership with Mary Ann for 43 years. We will all miss him dearly. RIP
