Mr. Shantz was my principal and teacher at St. Francis in Guelph. He was one of my favourite teachers as he inspired my love of reading.
I've thought of him often over the years and while I am saddened by his passing, I am so happy to read about his extraordinary life of giving. An exceptional man; may he rest in peace.
