The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Susan Usher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

When I think of Sue, I think of laughter, pranks, jokes, honesty, transparency, warmth, dedication, caring, and going the extra mile. She meant the world to my dad, Don Woodley, whom she worked with for so many years at KCI, and she was always the first person to step up to the plate when work was needed, when an event needed organization, or simply when a KCI student needed help. She was a dear family friend to us, and such an inspiration to others. I loved her, and all she brought to those around her. The world has lost an amazing person, and she shines as an inspiration to us all as we try to pick up the torch and carry on. Karen and Katharine, my thoughts are with you. -Lisa
