My sincere sympathy goes out to all of Daphne Reid’s family. Daphne holds a special place in my family’s history as she was the flower girl at my parents’ wedding in 1951. I have a picture of Daphne with my Mother Jessie and my Aunt Patricia from that day. It has been almost 30 years since I last saw Daphne at my Cousin Beverly’s wedding, but I remember her sweet smile and pleasant conversation from that special day.
I do hope that each family member’s fond memories of Daphne helps to bring comfort during this very sad time.
